The display flashes even when switched off

The new battery pack has a different BUS assignment.
Please contact your bicycle dealer.

The display lights up while switched off when the pedelec is being pushed backwards

When the pedelec is pushed backwards, the motor can build up residual stress, like a dynamo.
There is no error.

The up to 6km/h push off works, but there is no motor support whilst pedaling

Check the distance between the magnet and the bottom bracket sensor (must be 4 mm or less)
Check the plug connections.
If these steps do not solve the problem, please contact your bicycle dealer.

The LEDs on the display flash alternately

After approx. 5 minutes without use the system switches to standby.
Pressing any button or pedaling reactivates the system and the display returns to normal indication.
There is no error.

The display does not light up

Check that the battery pack is switched on.
With the system off, check the cabling for damage or loose connections.
If these steps do not solve the problem, please contact your bicycle dealer.

FM2.0 / FM4.0 / RM5.0 – Motor

The motor makes an audible clicking noise and has no propulsion

With the system off, check the cabling for damage or loose connections.
When pulling away in a high gear, the motor can overstress. At this point the motor protection will engage.
If this step does not solve the problem, please contact your bicycle dealer.

The motor runs, but has no propulsion

With the system off, check the cabling for damage or loose connections.
If this step does not solve the problem, please contact your bicycle dealer.

The motor stops and makes a loud noise

The freewheel is defective.
Please contact your bicycle dealer.

The motor makes a clicking noise

The motor is equipped with a mechanic freewheel which reacts when the motor is switched on/off.
There is no error.

The motor makes a noise when the pedelec is being pushed backwards

The freewheel of the motor only works for forward movement.
There is no error.

The motor jumps when driving with the 6 km/h button

The 6 km/h button is a pushing appliance.
There is no error.

While cycling uphill, the motor support occasionally cuts out despite pedaling with much force

The pedaling frequency is too low.
Change to a lower gear to increase pedaling frequency.
There is no error.

FM2.0 / FM4.0 / RM5.0 – Sensor/Magnetic disc

There is no motor support while pedaling

Check that the system is switched on.
